The term, “eminent domain,” infers a sense of nobility, honorability, and indicates an exercise for the public’s common good. Sadly, more often than not, it’s used as a bludgeoning tool to lawfully take property from legal landowners, under the guise of the “greater public good,” or in the “public’s best interest.”
The world has been held hostage by the Iranian regime’s doomsday ambitions and hostile actions. From the 1979 hostage taking, to masterminding the October Seventh Massacre, Tehran and its leaders have made it abundantly clear that its rouge regime operates outside all the rules of civility. Our local officers were extra busy this week, especially in Castle Rock and Woodland. Both cities found a deceased person lying by the road. There were several high-speed chases and gun incidents. One man went to jail on kidnapping charges and received $550,000 bail and a whole lot more.
